The somewhat day-to-day tracking of a 30something, trying to keep himself in reasonable shape, while in the middle of a hectic life, with an impossible schedule, and a hope that what he does here will help the rest of his life.

This is Chadd's fitness journal. I created this little piece of the blogosphere to simply track my fitness and diet related activities. Around 5 years ago or so, I had a substanstial weight gain, and as someone who had been an achieved athlete, I made the decision to never allow myself to be in that poor of shape again. So, over the last few years, I slowly began the trek back to a fit self. As a younger person, I was a rabid distance runner, and in my mid-twenties, I let myself go lax in that behavior. Now, after turning 30, I've decided to keep myself in a fit, healthy lifestyle (to the best of my ability). I'm married, and a father to four beautiful girls, so my time to commit to this goal is little, but I want to make the most out of the time I have each day to keep myself healthy.
